Mighty Life List

I’m 30 now. Yikes. I’ve done some stuff in my 30 years so far here, but I want to do lots more. I best get started. Oh, and I’ll update this list as I go along so check back (often, hopefully).

My Might Life List

- Visit Chile
- Visit Greece
- Road trip across the US
- Go back to the Puzzle Pub with Jennie, Melissa and Laura
- Sleep in a tree house
- Shop at Liberty of London
- Speak another language fluently (or at least conversationally)
- Learn to use my SLR camera
- Learn to draw
- Pet a sloth [Costa Rica trip Feb. '11]
- Live in another country
- Participate in a holi color fight
- Build/Design my own home
- Run a successful Etsy shop
- Have a garden
- Adopt a (part) Newfoundland or Burnese Mountain Dog (or other large furry mutt)
- Keep a consistent blog
- Have enough money saved to feel comfortable
- Only buy second-hand or cradle to cradle eco-friendly/sustainable clothing, or make it myself
- Remove toxins from my food and environment
- Live within my means
- Read and/or donate every book in my home
- Own a home large enough to have parties
- Have parties
- Get an article I’ve written published
- Reupholster my grandfather’s chair
- Get my apartment featured on Apartment Therapy
- Go a week without TV
- Go four months without purchasing any magazines
- Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
- Visit Morocco
- Meet Billy Joel
- Get another tattoo
- Go to Hawaii with Ben [Feb '13]
- Go to South America with Kendall
- Work with a South American artisan
- Be passionate about my job/Have a job I’m passionate about
- Visit Portland (as much as possible)
- Start a gratitude journal
- Update and maintain the memory list I made for Ben
- Visit all the spots on the Billy Joel map
- Volunteer in another country
- Eat at the restaurant at the bottom of the hill on Newark Ave
- Have a picnic at Liberty State Park
- Cook one meal a week for a year
- Go a month without eating at restaurants
- Make a video of our Costa Rica trip
- Make Don a pair of purple pants
- Take tourist photos of my own romance
- Bake one new thing a week for a year
- Write (and mail) a letter a week
- Send out a package to a friend once a month
- Make, cook, wear, etc. one thing from each of my Pinterest boards a week
- Ride my bike whenever it is a viable option
- Take a long train ride with Ben
- Visit Savannah
- Take a roll of film in each working camera I own
- Attend the Penland School of Crafts
- Do a bike race with Anthony
- Dance at the Cotton Club
- Tour the Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory [Jan '12]

- Learn to weave [Weaving Hand - March '12]

- Attend Burning Man

- Bake a layered cake
- Visit San Miguel, Mexico (and take a workshop at the Instituto Allende or other jewelry/weaving program)
- Always have a dressed loom
- Weave everyday
- Learn a new weaving technique – either tapestry weaving or weaving on a 4 harness floor loom
- Experiment with weaving things other than scarves
- Visit Guatemala
- Be on time (ideally early) to everything
- Take three M Dance classes a week for a year
- Cut out sugar
- Sew two Cooper messenger bags (1 for myself, 1 for Ben)
- Have 2,000 followers on Pinterest
