This is what it’s like on a fantasy

Today I’m spending my fourth, and final, Summer Friday baking cookies and getting ready for Ben Friend’s Birthday Weekend Extravaganza (except without the extravaganza part since Ben doesn’t like to make a big deal out of his birthday – no fun!!). I made what look to be exceptionally tasty chocolate chip, white chocolate chip/butterscotch, and chocolate chip/blueberry (made with fresh, organic, hand-picked blueberries from last weekend) cookies. I wouldn’t know how good they actually taste since they are all gluten-y and thus I can not eat them but I am told they are delicious. I also made some gluten free blueberry brownies which are amazing and some white chocolate chip/blueberry and white chocolate chip/butterscotch gluten free cookies that came out more like pancakes but are still pretty tasty.

Tonight Ben and I are heading down to Baltimore to see some of his B-more friends. The rest of the weekend will be spent in Virginia visiting with the Ben Friend fam and close friends. Ben has very graciously agreed to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World this weekend with me. I was hoping to see a midnight screening last night but then realized that I’m super old and get very sleepy very early. Ben understands, though, that I can’t wait too long to see a movie that combines a trifecta of my favorite things: Scott Pilgrim, Kieran Culkin, and Jason Schwartzman!! I think it also helps that he’s a fan of that sassy girl from Parks and Recreation that’s in the movie as well. I’m super psyched and would be even more psyched if I could pack the following would-if-I-could wardrobe:

Clockwise from Top Left:

In-Place Pony $15

Kimchi Blue Open Front Mohair Cardigan $58

Artisan Tee $29.50

Blank Skinny Classique Jean $78

UO Spectrum Necklace $38

Britten Platform Booties $298

Lucca Couture Prairie Dress $58

Natural Stripe Agate Ring $115

Enjoy your weekend and be sure to check back in on Sunday for some Ben Friend Bday Love!
